In other Battlecross news, drummer Shannon Lucas, who served as the session drummer on the latest release War of Will, will be rejoining the band for a select series of US shows over the holidays. Lucas will pick up where ALL SHALL PERISH drummer Adam Pierce left off after two consecutive tours with the band, on the HATEBREED and DEATH ANGEL runs this fall. Whether Lucas joins the band full-time is yet to be determined as is who will drum on the upcoming UK and European tours with Killswitch Engage, Trivium and Miss May I in early 2014. Shannon previously performed for one song with the band at the 2013 GWAR-BQ in his hometown of Richmond, VA.

As for a permanent drummer, the band comments, "We're in no hurry to fill the position. We've been busy continuously since we parted ways with Mike. Not only are we looking for an amazing drummer to sit behind the kit for us, but he has to be an amazing person as well. Our permanent drummer will become an equal shareholder in the band and in our company, and that's a big deal to give that away to someone who hasn't been in this from the

beginning as we have. But if it were to go to anyone, Shannon deserves it the most as he's been a big part of our success and contributed a great deal to this album. He's a great person, a great drummer, and a friend, as is Adam, and we'd be honored to have either one of them. Of course, Adam has All Shall Perish and Shannon is still making a decision on whether to pursue drumming as a career, and until there's a decision by all parties, we're just having a blast jamming with the best drummers in metal."

Shannon is confirmed to play the following dates with Battlecross:

December

12 - Fint, MI - The Machine Shop
12 - Indianapolis, IN - Christmas
12 - New York, NY Irving Plaza (with GWAR)
12 - New Haven, CT - Toad's Place (with GWAR)
12 - Richmond, VA - The National (with GWAR)
