Metal Wani Editor In Chief Owais 'Vitek' Nabi caught up with MEGADETH's David Ellefson to discuss his autobiography, My Life With Deth, Megadeth's Super Collider album, recent touring with KISS, BLACK SABBATH, and IRON MAIDEN, and more.
In the following excerpt, David shares the hardest, emotionally compelling parts while writing the book. He says: "My transition back in 2002 out of Megadeth was the toughest, scariest phase of my life but it eventually turned out to be the best thing that ever happened."
He also opens up about Megadeth's sound when he was away from the group. He says: "Dave (Mustaine) worked hard and tried to re-correct the Megadeth sound to get it back to their origins".
