The new project MEXICAN APE-LORD, featuring MELIAH RAGE founder Anthony Nichols and THE BAGS vocalist/bassist Jon Hardy, has issued a third song from their soon-to-be-released debut record, The Late Heavy Bombardment. The record is due out in early 2014. The song is titled 'The Misadventures Of Black Jesus' and will be the opening track on the record.

"Though we each have had our own thing going over the years, I've always had Jon's voice in the back of my head - I always liked his style and creative sensibilities," Nichols stated. "I have long thought that Jon would be a great vocalist/lyricist for the way I write music," added Nichols, who enlisted drummer Steve Fry and guitarist Dan Dykes to complete the project.

Mexican Ape-Lord’s music will feature the riff-based style that Nichols established with Meliah Rage, while highlighting Hardy's unique lyrical sensibilities and vocal style. Both Fry and Dykes bring tremendous playing and frenetic energy to the new project.

Previously, the songs 'Rat King' and 'Super Inga' had been premiered online:
