According to The RAINBOW Fanclan Legacy, vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) revealed at the Schubert In Rock concert in Innsbruck, Austria on December 6th, that he has launched a new band called LEGACY X with drummer Carmine Appice (VANILLA FUDGE, CACTUS), bassist Tony Franklin (THE FIRM, BLUE MURDER) and guitarist Jeff Watson (NIGHT RANGER).

"I can leak it now," Turner stated. "The band is called Legacy X because we all said this about legacies. All of us have a legacy, we're leaving our marks. And X is the unknown. And that's it."
