Recorded in San Francisco at the historic Regency Ballroom and mixed in 5.1 surround sound, The Concert For Ronnie Montrose opens with a performance by Neal Schon (JOURNEY guitarist), Ricky Phillips (Styx bassist), Steve Smith (ex-Journey and Montrose drummer) and Ed Roth on keys, tipping their hats to Ronnie's instrumental side. It also features a Montrose set with Sammy Hagar,
Denny Carmassi, Bill Church and Joe Satriani on guitar and continues with GAMMA including Davey Pattison, Denny Carmassi, Glenn Letsch and featuring Marc Bonilla on guitar. Other guest appearances include TESLA, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer (KISS), Eric Martin (MR. BIG), and many more all-star performances.
Additionally, Ricky is producing a new CD of the last recordings that Ronnie ever did, with Eric Singer from KISS on drums, called 10/10/10 (10 songs, 10 singers, 10 years in the making.) There are many all-star performances from additional artists, helping to finish the overdubs Ronnie never completed.
