The Metal Voice recently conducted an in-depth interview with Alex Staropoli, keyboardist and co-founder of Italian symphonic metal pioneers RHAPSODY OF FIRE.
Staropoli talks about the making of new album Dark Wings Of Steel without former co-founder Luca Turilli and goes on to reveal that for this album he did not want to do very long songs, big suites and narrations - he wanted a more organic sound. Listen below:
