ALAYA have announced the release of their debut album, Thrones, on March 17th via Basick Records. The band premiered the new single, 'Sleep', on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P Carter this week before releasing the accompanying video.

Hailing from Chicago, IL, Alaya are a band who have caught the ears and imaginations of musicians, fans, and press worldwide by standing apart from many of today’s artists, fusing punishing technical rhythm with a genre defying soulful, melodic style.

Thrones is the product of over two years of meticulous craftsmanship; two years which have produced some of the finest progressive metal fusion to date. Combining heartbreakingly haunting and beautiful melody with an eye for razor-sharp technical grooves, Alaya illuminate the path of the future of metal. When boundaries collide and are redefined, new bands rise. Entirely accessible, eminently listenable, exclusively unique: Alaya are here.
