BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's new album, Catacombs Of The Black Vatican, will be released in Europe on April 7th via Mascot Label Group and in North America on April 8th via eOne Music.

Speaking with RollingStone.com about the new material, leader ZAKK WYLDE tells Kory Grow:

"Everybody always says their new record is the most fabulous, stupendous record of their life. When I heard this record, I looked at myself in the mirror and started making out with myself," he says with a deep laugh. "It's that good. The second time I listened to it, not only did I make out with myself, I groped myself. It's that good."

Joking somewhat aside, Wylde reports that fans of Black Label's burly riffs and gnarly vocals won't be disappointed by Catacombs Of The Black Vatican. "Obviously, it's not a departure where we're making a jazz record," he says. "It's like when BLACK SABBATH or LED ZEPPELIN put out new records – it's just a batch of ass-kickin' Sabbath riffs or Zeppelin stuff."
