Shock rock legend ALICE COOPER turned 66 years old today and MARYANN COTTON has posted a birthday message to Cooper:

“I would like to say Happy 66th Birthday to the master! More than 45 years of rock 'n roll, and still going strong, that's amazing!

Thanks for your huge inspiration throughout my life, without you I couldn't see myself perform as Maryann Cotton !Alice invented the shock rock scene, the theater, the rock' n roll Show ... In general just the guy who did everything first , and for me the one who got me into rock music, and to create my thing and character! The Coop will always be number one! Many years to come and have a rocking Birthday uncle Alice!''

Legendary MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee will record the drums for Maryann Cotton's upcoming album, Chester Rose - 'The Legend Begins'. The final recordings will take place in Hollywood very soon.

The new concept album will be produced by legendary rock icon Dick Wagner, mixed by multi-platinum producer and engineer Warren Huart. The album consists of music written by Maryann Cotton, Alice Cooper, Dick Wagner, and HAL PATINO.

Maryann states: "I have known Mikkey my whole life, and he's one of my really close buddies. He's my all-time favorite drummer, and I know that he can add so much to the music and the new material, I'm really looking forward to working with him. Lemmy knows best, 'The best drummer in the world ... Mikkey Dee'."
