SAIGON KICK guitarist Jason Bieler has checked in with the following update:

"Putting the finishing touches on a new song for my project OWL STRETCHING. Starting to work on an idea Matt (Kramer/vocals) came up with for some Saigon Kick music, and there should be another big SK show announcement next week."

The band has been confirmed to perform at the 98Rockfest 2014 on April 25th at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, FL. Other band's on the bill include VOLBEAT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, TRIVIUM and CHEVELLE. Go to this location for event details.

Saigon Kick played their final show of 2013 on November 15th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Frontman Matt Kramer checked in with the following message:

"Friends, family, and most dedicated fans. We close this year as one that stands out from the past 20 or so years the most. To have imagined even a few years ago being onstage amicably with my most unpredictable SK band mates was an impossible mission. I have learned a lot in my journey, and one thing that I must admire and support is forgiveness by being a bigger man. We were all in our early twenties when we started the band, and it happened so quick for us that we lost sight of what really made Saigon Kick, and it fell apart before we we're 25. This reunion took three years of talks between us to even get close to a first show. Now, seven incredibly inspired and supported performances later, we close down the year to enjoy the holidays with family and loved ones.

The fact that anyone cares, period, much less Sirius/XM playing us currently in heavy rotation daily, Eddie Trunk giving us props as the most underrated hard rock / heavy metal debut on VH 1's That Metal Show, and most importantly you die hard fans flying and driving thousands of miles to see the rare performances of 2013 is quite the surreal experience. Humbled does not scratch the surface.

We as a band lost a very dear friend in 2013, Sean Gerovitz, this year as well. Life is quite precious as are these new historic moments as we go into the unknown of 2014. I hope that we can all stay in sync and make decisions that allow this trip around the sun to expose a fine new year and many more creative and expressive memories in the future.

Sorry for being long winded, my love to all. Thank you for making us a force. Glasses up to the future. Cheers!"
