Rising up the ladder of the Canadian metal scene with their latest album Infection Legacy, unleashed last October, DEATH TOLL RISING won praise in 2013 from fans, metal publications, and support from Canadian Loud Charts. Now with an upcoming tour with KATAKLYSM and ABORTED on select dates during the Kill The Elite Tour, the indie force is proud to announce hometown endorsement and nomination for Metal Recording Of The Year from the Edmonton Music Awards.

Drew Copland, guitarist for DTR comments: "It is a great honour for us to be nominated for an Edmonton Music Award. We have been a part of this city's music scene for over a decade now and we are proud to represent it alongside some other amazing bands! We would like to extend a huge high five to our local fanbase for always supporting us and sticking with us. It took some time to get Infection Legacy out there, but we poured our heart and soul into it, and just being nominated is very gratifying for us!"
