London metallers SAVAGE MESSIAH have finished recording a new video for the track 'Hellblazer', starring Game Of Thrones actress Pixie Le Knot.

With eye-watering riffs, lung-busting vocals and fist-in-the-air fearsomeness, 'Hellblazer' tells a tale of power, religion and corrupted innocence through an ancient Illuminati ritual. The music video was filmed with director Tom Walsh (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, PENDULUM) and features a mesmerising performance from famed London contortionist Pixie Le Knot (Game Of Thrones Season 3, The Devil Inside).

Savage Messiah frontman Dave Silver comments: "As we get ever closer to the release date for The Fateful Dark, we're very pleased to unveil our latest promo for the track 'Hellblazer'. Musically, this is a solid representation of the Savage Messiah sound; melodic, heavy, catchy and with guitar solos galore! We tried to invoke that classic Uriah Heep-esque groove with this track so we hope you dig it! And talking of invoking, the video depicts us conducting a kind of exorcism ritual of sorts where we draw the evil pope from contortionist and Game of Thrones actress Pixie Le Knot! We want to extend our thanks to director Tom Walsh and all involved in creating this video!"

The video is due to be released this coming Monday, February 17th. Check out more stills from the video at this location.

Savage Messiah have been confirmed for this year's Hard Rock Hell Road Trip in Ibiza, following the release of their upcoming new album, The Fateful Dark. The festival's final year visiting the party island of Ibiza is due to take place from May 14th to May 21st and also features the likes of THE QUIREBOYS, VARGAS BLUES BAND, EVIL SCARECROW and more.

Savage Messiah lead guitarist Joff Bailey comments: "We're pleased to announce that we'll be slammin' down our heavy metal stamp on the shores of Ibiza as part of the Hard Rock Hell Road Trip! As it's the last one to be held there before it changes location, we promise to smash your heads even harder! Sun, sand, sea… and Savage Messiah! Gonna be mental! See all you sun-soaked Savages there!!"

Savage Messiah will release The Fateful Dark on March 10th in Europe via Earache Records and on March 18th in North America via Century Media/Earache Records.

The band have secured a deal with Trooper Entertainment for the Japanese release on March 12th. Frontman Dave Silver comments: "We're extremely excited and proud to be able to announce our first domestic Japanese release! So a massive thanks goes to Earache and Trooper for putting this together. Japan is a country that we've always held in high esteem and we know that there is a vibrant rock/metal scene over there which we hope to become a part of. This deal should hopefully enable the band to tour over there and we look forward to the adventures to come!"

The band are releasing three instant grat tracks on iTunes which can be downloaded in advance of the album's release.

The new track, 'Minority Of One', is available now as an instant grat download, along with a previously-released track, 'Cross Of Babylon'. A further track, 'Hellblazer', will be available as an instant grat download on iTunes on February 10th.

Frontman Dave Silver comments: "The title for this song comes from a famous saying by Ghandi, who said that even if you're in a minority of one, the truth is the truth. Which is a good message to people about breaking the mould and not getting sucked into 'group think' mentality. Standing up for what's objectively right and not compromising for the sake of social acceptance. Musically, this is my favourite Savage Messiah track ever; we've managed to marry the thrash and heavy metal elements into a cohesive track, which is catchy and melodic, but still fast and thrashy. Enjoy!"

The Fateful Dark, the follow-up to 2012's Plague Of Conscience, was recorded at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England with producer Scott Atkins (AMON AMARTH, SYLOSIS, BEHEMOTH) and features artwork created by Peter Sallai (SABATON).
