Rich Davenport's Rock Show - Primal Fear, Ring of Fire and Ruts DC Interviews by Rich Davenport on Mixcloud
In the first hour of the show, Mat Sinner of Primal Fear talks about the band’s new album Delivering The Black, which looks set to repeat the worldwide chart success of its predecessor, Unbreakable. Mat also selects two songs from the new release.
More melodic Metal follows as vocalist Mark Boals discusses Battle of Leningrad, the new album from Ring of Fire, his band with shredmaster Tony Macalpine and keyboard virtuoso Vitalij Kuprij, with tracks from the record.
Part 2 features a special Phil Lynott tribute, with Ruts/Ruts DC bassist and vocalist Seggs Jennings, who shares a wealth of stories about seeing Phil perform with THIN LIZZY as a fan, and then later meeting Lynott, who helped and befriended the band in the early days of their career, initially writing the song 'Fanatical Fascists' for the Ruts. The song was later recorded by Phil and Gary Moore, for Moore’s Back On The Streets album, and this version of the track is played on the show, along with Seggs’ choice of Thin Lizzy and Ruts classics.
