Gary Holt Talks New Music From EXODUS, SLAYER, His New Damnation V Guitar, The Summer Tour Season In New Video Interview

BackstageAxxess has uploaded a new interview with EXODUS, SLAYER guitarist Gary Holt. Besides his own band, Exodus, Gary has the indelible job of replacing Jeff Hanneman of Slayer. Playing in two bands is a chore, and here, Jeff takes the opportunity to joke about that. We also talk about his new guitar “Damnation V.” Gary calls it the “crime scene” guitar, referring to its blood splattered adornment. We discussed this and new music from both Exodus and Slayer. In addition to this Gary talks about the upcoming summer touring season.
On February 7th, METALLICA's Kirk Hammett joined his former Exodus bandmates on stage at Hammett's first ever Fear FestEvil in San Francisco at the Regency Ballroom. They performed Exodus' 'Piranha' and BLUE ÖYSTER CULT's 'Godzilla'. Check out the footage below courtesy of AndrewHaug.com:
