Guitarist Karl Cochran Joins RATED X

Guitarist Karl Cochran (JOE LYNN TURNER, VOODOOLAND) has joined RATED X - the new supergroup featuring vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), guitarist Jeff Watson (NIGHT RANGER), bassist Tony Franklin (THE FIRM, BLUE MURDER) and Carmine Appice (VANILLA FUDGE, CACTUS).
A short message at Cochran's site states: "This literally happened Friday afternoon, and Karl has already finished cutting two tracks for the new album (scheduled for May release), and is flying to Los Angeles to shoot two videos this week."
Rated X recently inked a deal with Frontiers Records. Joe Lynn Turner issued the following brief update: "Almost finished recording the new CD! Rated X is the band name and hard rock is the game! Release in May on Frontiers!"
