The Wagnerian Opera Metal project LYRAKA will release Lyraka Volume 2 on November 29th. Kevin Talley (formerly of SIX FEET UNDER and DYING FETUS) has completed drum tracks for the Lyraka Volume 2 songs 'Lilliput' (featuring Liz Vandall), 'Abyss' (Rob Diaz), and 'Father Mvt. 3' (a trio featuring Vandall, Al Atkins, and Mark Boals).

The lead guitarist and composer for the opera metal project, Andy DiGelsomina, stated: "Kevin had a consistently great attitude and was very kind and patient with me when I made my usual bonehead mistakes. I must say that it was inspiring to have Kevin working for me, not just because of his obvious percussive brilliance, but because he's currently playing with yet another of my favorite death metal bands, SUFFOCATION! He brings extra menace, double-drum mastery, and progressivity to the Lyraka music, and both Jasmine and I are grateful for his work and hope to work with him again."

Lyraka has begun plans to begin a string of concerts for 2014, already slated for performance are composer-guitarist Andy DiGelsomina on lead, Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, ALCATRAZZ), Mark Boals (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RING OF FIRE), Robert Lowe (CANDLEMASS, SOLITUDE AETURNUS), Kevin Talley (SIX FEET UNDER, DAATH), Veronica Freeman (BENEDICTUM), Eric Ragno (GRAHAM BONNET), Andre Maquera (8084, Lyraka), and Thom Carvey (Lyraka).

DiGelsomina states: "The plans to go and play out the Lyraka opera onstage, especially backed by these elite musicians, is terrifically inspiring. It will be the first time ever Graham Bonnet and Mark Boals have performed together, and I must say the overall combination of these artists is going to be a fantastic spectacle to behold! We'll be playing plenty of covers from the musician's back catalogue, including classic Yngwie, Rainbow, Candlemass, and MSG, plus Kevin's extreme metal history adds even more interest to the proceedings, so there will definitely be something for all lovers of heavy metal!”
