MARAYANN COTTON is gearing up for the release of a new single, 'Broadway Sensation', which is dedicated to shock rock legend ALICE COOPER.

Maryann states: "Alice has always been my biggest hero, and a huge inspiration throughout my life. Without him I couldn't see myself performing as Maryann Cotton! Alice did everything first and will always be number one. I'm performing three songs that he has written for my new album, I was invited to hang out with him and see two of his concerts in Germany last year 2013, and in general he has just been so cool to me, so when I wrote this song I knew immediately that I wanted to dedicate it to him.

The song reminds me of the early Alice Cooper, and takes me back to the Killer and School's Out albums. It really has a lot of similar elements, and in the middle section you will hear this kind of Broadway / Circus music. The lyrics both relates to Maryann and Alice, which is a pretty cool thing !The single will be available on iTunes and Amazon, etc. next week."

Maryann Cotton has announced that his new album will be mixed and engineered by multi-platinum producer Warren Huart. Warren mixed and engineered the latest AEROSMITH album, Music From Another Dimension.

The final recordings will take place in Hollywood very soon, and the legendary DICK WAGNER will be producing the album. Chester Rose - The Legend Begins will be a full concept album which will introduce you to a world of chaos, blood and love.

The album consists of music written by Maryann Cotton, Alice Cooper, Dick Wagner, and HAL PATINO. Updates to follow.
