ASTARTE’s Maria “Tristessa” Kolokouri - "I Am Preparing For The Biggest Fight Of All, The Fight For My Life"

Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri, leader of Athens-based all-female black metal band ASTARTE has been fighting leukemia and has issued the following statement:
"I would like to thank you all for your support all that time and your truly wishes that you send me through your hearts. I am preparing for the biggest fight of all, the fight for my life. My family, my husband, my child and all of you give strength and courage. I am emotional about the fact that you are giving your blood for me and you and thinking positive about me. In this fight for life I know I am not alone. I am fighting 'til I get back to my son, my husband and to all people that they care about me and love me."
