Rich Davenport's Rock Show - Kings X Special with Dug Pinnick & Ty Tabor, Plus H.E.A.T. Interview by Rich Davenport on Mixcloud

In the first hour of the show, Dug Pinnick talks about his chart-storming new band KXM, which features George Lynch (LYNCH MOB, DOKKEN) and Ray Luzier (KORN), describing how the band got together, the musical chemistry between the three members, and their touring plans. You’ll also hear two tracks from their self-titled debut album. Dug then looks at the new reissue of the first King's X album, Out Of The Silent Planet, out now on Rock Candy Records, giving an insight into the development of the band’s trademark sound, how they secured a record deal, and the recording of and reaction to the album.

In part two, Kings X guitarist Ty Tabor also looks back at Out Of The Silent Planet, and gives further insight into the origins of the sound of the band, their early years, the recording of the debut album, and the reaction to it from fans and critics. Ty also gives the low down on his brand-new solo album Nobody Wins When Nobody Plays.

And finally, H.E.A.T. drummer Crash talks about the band’s new release Tearing Down The Walls, and selects a pair of songs from the album.
