THE DOOMSAYER Announce Lineup Change; Summer Festival Appearance Announced
April 14, 2014, 10 years ago
Italian outfit THE DOOMSAYER has announced the addition of guitarist Enrico “Wawi” Candela to the band ranks.
Lead guitarist and co-singer Andrea Bailo commented: “When we started this band we didn’t really want to look for a permanent second guitarist, but after we recorded Fire.Everywhere. we started to play shows and gradually realized we genuinely missed a second axeman on stage. We agreed on having a look around, but couldn’t find a person who could both play our songs and fit with us on a personal level, then one day we simply realized we had the right person already! Wawi is a good friend of the band, he knows us really well as he toured with us on a few occasions as our merch guy and he shreds!”
The newcomer said about his addition to the band’s lineup: “I am happy to join the band and share songwriting and shows with these four guys! The songs included in Fire.Everywhere. are fun to play and I immediately found the right vibe onstage. See you soon!“

The Doomsayer debut album, Fire.Everywhere., was released worldwide on October 28th, 2013 via Candlelight Records and is currently available for streaming on the band’s Facebook profile, here.
