SEBASTIAN BACH Says Global Warming Destroyed His Home
April 25, 2014, 10 years ago
In a new interview with the Asbury Park Press SEBASTIAN BACH says global warming is real and it destroyed his home on Swimming River Road in the Lincroft section of Middletown.
“I had hardwood floors in the basement, and it was the ultimate MTV man-cave crib,” said Bach, the former lead singer for SKID ROW. “We’d have torrential downpours and we’d be in the basement the whole time. We didn’t have a drop of water in the basement for 25 years.”That all changed when Hurricane Irene flooded the property and destroyed many of Bach’s music collectibles. He saw signs of climate change first hand, he said.
“My dreams came true in New Jersey,” Bach said. “I have so many great memories of Skid Row and BON JOVI, and my family and my children and getting married there and getting divorced there. It’s haunting for me to walk around there.”Read more at the Asbury Park Press.
Sebastian Bach recently debuted the new video for 'All My Friends Are Dead', dedicated to a number of fallen hard rock/heavy metal musicians that we lost way too soon.
Sebastian Bach's new album, Give 'Em Hell is out now. Produced, mixed and recorded by Bob Marlette (BLACK SABBATH, ALICE COOPER) and mastered by Tom Baker (NINE INCH NAILS, ROB ZOMBIE), Give 'Em Hell features writing and playing by very special friends and guest stars: Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES), John 5 (MARILYN MANSON, Rob Zombie) and Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL). Rounding up the lineup on the album are Devin Bronson on guitars and Bobby Jarzombek on drums.
