SPV/Steamhammer has signed California-based NIGHT DEMON for the European territory.

Bass player and vocalist Jarvis Leatherby says: “It is such an honor to be joining the SPV/Steamhammer family. With 30 years of greatness already behind them, we only hope to add to the existing legacy of true hard rock and heavy metal the label has been known for since it's inception. Becoming label mates with some of our heroes is quite the dream come true.”

Olly Hahn (A&R; Steamhammer) adds: "Night Demon is Heavy Metal at it`s best. They are young, hungry and they don`t take no for an answer. Their music is a well needed fresh blood in todays metal genre. Welcome them with open arms - the same as we did!"

According to a press release, the young trio from California consisting of Jarvis Leatherby (bass, vocals) - Brent Woodward (guitars) and Dustin Kithcart (drums) seemingly fell out of the sky from nowhere. In almost no time at all, they’ve gone from just creating a Bandcamp page to being invited to play various annual metal festivals such as Ragnarokkr in Chicago, Muskelrock in Sweden, and Keep It True in Germany before any of their music was even officially released. Their self titled debut EP officially hit the streets in August 2013. The EP sold out quickly, thus demanding an Expanded 12” version due out in April.

Drawing influences from classic British metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Angel Witch, and various classic bands of the genre, NIGHT DEMON proudly carries on the tradition of the true heavy metal style from the NWOBHM.

The full debut album Run For Your Life will be released in autumn 2014 in different high class formats and another tour through Europe can be expected.
