BON JOVI frontman Jon Bon Jovi is the star of Fame: Bon Jovi, which debuts today, Tuesday, April 29th in print and digital formats from the Vancouver-based Bluewater Productions.

The book, written and illustrated by Jayfri Hashim of Singapore, is what’s called an origin tale in the business, telling the story of how John Francis Bongiovi Jr. became Jon Bon Jovi.

“Miracles happened through my hard work,” says Bon Jovi while he’s mopping the floor of his cousin Tony Bongiovi’s recording studio, the Power Station. “My song ‘Runaway’ opens the door to what was called success. ‘Runaway’ was played on the radio.”

After 'Runaway' became a hit, Bon Jovi assembled the band that became Bon Jovi.

“Not only is this a great way to understand the importance of their contribution to music, but a great tool for kids to read about him in a different medium,” said Darren G. Davis of Bluewater Productions. “Our biography comic books are now taught in schools and libraries for students and reluctant readers.”

Fame: Bon Jovi is available on iTunes. Visit bluewaterprod.com for more information.

Bon Jovi (the band) will be releasing a photobook titled Work. The oversized, hardcover art book - weighing nearly five pounds - contains 208 pages of images by Bon Jovi’s official tour photographer David Bergman and shows the band members on stage, backstage, and inside their own homes.

A special section features never-before-seen private photos taken by Jon Bon Jovi himself.

Pre-order and reserve your copy today at here. Scheduled to ship in June.
