Heavy Glow has announced their first music video (out May 13th) from their new album, featuring Hollywood star Mayra Leal in “Look What You’re Doing To Me”. The video was directed and edited by Dallas-based Nate Bernard (The Watcher, 8 Days, ESPN) who is influenced by Alfred Hitchcock, Quentin Tarantino and of course Robert Rodriguez.
"Capturing Jared's vision was exciting" Bernard explains. "He brings this off the wall creativity and is great to collaborate as he is truly a larger than life character." About the video star he says "Working with Mayra Leal was amazing. She is a phenomenal actress and knows how to make a character come to life with little direction."Jared Mullins, the bands front man adds "Here's a clip of Mayra killing off one of our drummers from the music video - note the mood music for the shoot is Al Green!"
Southern California fans can tune in to see bass player Joe Brooks promote the record on NBC San Diego program, SoundDiego, May 14th. The new album, Pearls & Swine And Everything Fine, was recorded with producer team Michael Patterson and Nic Jodoin.
