The Agonist are currently in the studio working on their new full length fourth studio album. Drummer Simon McKay has checked in with the following update:

"Ripping drum tracks for the new The Agonist album. It's the best thing we've ever done, and I've never been more stoked in the studio than for this."

Due to an ongoing dispute between YouTube and the GEMA - a performance rights organisation - some fans in Germany are unable to watch the new lyric video from The Agonist, 'Disconnect Me'. The full length clip can be viewed by German fans and everyone else via this link to Muzu.tv. It will begin playing automatically.

Check out a new band promo photo featuring new vocalist Vicky Psarakis in place of Alissa White-Gluz, who left the band to join Arch Enemy.

The Agonist released a 2-song digital single on April 29th via Century Media, the first to feature new singer Vicky Psarakis.

The Agonist will also start recording their new album this month. It will once again be produced by Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) in the band's hometown of Montreal and will be out in the fall of this year.

Vicky has breathed new life into the song writing process and we are so excited to share these first 2 tracks with the world! The songs on this album represent a culmination of the past 10 years, as well as a new beginning for The Agonist. The Agonist have announced a series of UK and European summer festival and club show dates, kicking off on August 8th in Vienna.
