The Metallica camp checks in with the following news:

"It's not 1992... it's not even 2012, but the Snake Pit is back for another run this summer and we want Met Club members to be right there closest to the stage! Starting on May 7th, you will be able to enter the pit pass contest to win two passes to be in the Snake Pit during Metallica's set. The contest ends at 9 AM on May 21st and winners will be drawn randomly and e-mailed with more details shortly after. Please log in to Metallica.com for more details on how to win Snake Pit passes if you're heading out to see some shows this summer.

The time has come once again to enter to win a coveted Meet and Greet pass for the upcoming shows this summer. If you're heading out to a show in May or June, the contest will begin on May 7th at 9 AM, Pacific Time. We will stop accepting contest entries on May 21st at 9 AM, Pacific Time. Winners will then be chosen randomly by computer. If you are chosen as a winner, you will be emailed by the end of the day on May 23rd.

If you're attending a show in July, you'll be able to enter the Meet and Greet contest beginning on June 11th at 9 AM, Pacific Time. The contests will close on June 25th at 9 AM, Pacific Time and winners will be notified by the end of the day on June 27th.

Information on the Montreal Meet and Greet will become available at some point in July.

Reminder: PLEASE ONLY ENTER FOR THOSE SHOWS YOU ARE ATTENDING! If you win a pass to a show you are not going to, not only are you wasting that pass but you are preventing another Clubber from having a chance to meet the band.
