As blasphemous Italian death metal quartet Hour Of Penance prepares to once again conquer North America later this summer alongside Septicflesh and Fleshgod Apocalypse, the band has unveiled a glimpse at what fans can expect via live video footage of their new song "Theogony" from their recent gig at Wakefield, UK's The Snooty Fox.

Regicide features cover artwork completed by Gyula Havancsák (Annihilator, Destruction, Grave Digger) which, like the album, revolves around the themes of destruction, rebirth and the killing of the king. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Rome's 16th Cellar Studios (Fleshgod Apocalypse), the album is described by the band as "a bone-crushing feast for old and new fans...more varied and brutal than everything we've done so far."

The album's first CD pressing will be a limited-edition digipak that will contain three bonus tracks. Those bonus tracks will also be available via download card to anyone who orders the album on vinyl or cassette, as well as anyone who orders the deluxe edition of the album on Bandcamp or other digital providers.

Following their upcoming live appearance in their home country, the band will join label mates Septicflesh and fellow Italian metal horde Fleshgod Apocalypse on the North American Conquerors of the World tour - the band's first return to the continent since joining The Black Dahlia Murder, Skeletonwitch, Nile, Cannibal Corpse and Misery Index on tour here in 2012.
