news life in black behemoth

Behemoth have been detained in Russia, where the band launched a 3-week tour on May 10th. Mainman Adam "Nergal" Darski has issued the following via the band's Facebook page (translated from Polish):

"We were stopped by immigration (about) visas under the pretext of evil. When I said that we're not (leaving) the club without the presence of someone from the Polish Embassy, (they) threatened to deport us with strength. They took us by bus in the company of about 10 officers to the building of FMS (Federal Migration Service). (We) tried calling the Polish Embassy in Ekaterinburg but nobody answers. If you can please copy this message and share it wherever you can. Now we probably (have) several hours of questioning. The gig certainly did not take place. Now I just want to quietly go back to the hotel..."

Stay tuned for updates from Behemoth. The band's live itinerary can be found here.
