Estonian death metal duo Neoandertals has released their new single, “Birth Of The Enemy Of Man” via Bandcamp.

Featuring the recording lineup of Sandra Vungi (drums) and Rain Pohlak (vocals, bass), the single was recorded in March and April in the home cave of the neo-Neanderthals, Estonia. Mixing and mastering was done in May by mainman Rain Pohlak.

The lyrics behind "Birth Of The Enemy Of Man" tell a story about a Neanderthal child being born into a cold winter cave. The mother would die while giving birth and her body would be eaten by the cannibalistic Neanderthals.

"Birth Of The Enemy Of Man" is the first new music recorded by the band since recording their second album, Ebu GoGo Gutting the Child, in 2011. Ebu GoGo Gutting the Child was nominated in the “Metal” category at the 15th annual Estonian Music Awards in 2012 (the Estonian equivalent to the Grammy Awards).

Drummer Sandra Vungi has been busy writing her new vegan cookbook, Vegan Dinner Party. The book will be released November 4th in the United States by Skyhorse Publishing from New York. Pre-orders are already available via Amazon. To have a taste of what Sandra's recipes have to offer, head here.
