Tonight (May 23rd), Arch Enemy will kick-off their War Eternal world tour in Bucharest, Romania at Turbohalle, marking the live debut of Alissa White-Gluz (ex-The Agonist) as the band's vocalist. BraveWords scribe Carl Begai recently spoke with guitarist Michael Amott about the planned setlist and rehearsing classic Arch Enemy material with Alissa:

"We've got a long, long list of songs that we've rehearsed," says Michael. "We've set ourselves up in a warehouse in Germany and are hashing out all the details. We have new equipment, new guitars, a new singer (laughs), a new show, a new stage presentation. We're getting the music tight to where it needs to be and creating a setlist with a great flow. We're going to play all the songs that people expect to hear and maybe throw in some songs from the old era that we never did with Angela (Gossow). Alissa has her favourite Arch Enemy songs, and a couple of them we realized we'd never actually played them before (laughs). I've heard Alissa sing 'Nemesis', 'Dead Eyes See No Future', 'We Will Rise', 'Blood Stained Cross' and 'My Apocalypse' in our rehearsal space in Sweden and they sound absolutely phenomenal."
"Angela is one of my favourite death metal singers," he adds. "Alissa is a much more technical singer, I'd say, and it's almost as if there are melodies in her screams on the new album. There are these raw and bleeding vocals but there's melody in there too, and it just sounds epic."
