Die Apokalyptischen Reiter have released another track from their upcoming masterpiece, Tief.Tiefer. "Die Zeit" is the band’s first ever acoustic song. Check it out below:

Commented the band: “The recording sessions had a truly magical, special atmosphere. Unlike the rough first part Tief, we decided to try new things with Tiefer, things that have been appealing to us for a long time now. Newly interpreting old classics and entering new paths without alienation gave us shivers each time. We asked our video team to just film during recordings. A sweaty, intense performance during our loud shows can be very addictive, but we also enjoy slowing down. It’s definitely cool to play, sitting down. We’re already looking forward to our acoustic tour in the spring of 2015. The dates will be announced this fall.”

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter recently debuted their new video, "Freiheit Gleichheit Brüderlichkeit" (English: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity), which is taken from Tief.Tiefer. The extravagant video clip was produced by Grupa 13 (Behomth) in Wroclaw, Poland.

Tief.Tiefer is due out May 30th via Nuclear Blast. The extravagant artwork that underlines the deep connection between both albums was created by frontman Fuchs, who created the cover for the classic Riders On The Storm.

The band recently announced the fifth Russian headlining tour for June.

"After the release shows for Tief.Tiefer in Germany, we will visit Russia again," the band comment. "Even if the political circumstances are currently controversial, we don’t want to disappoint our fans there. Music has always united the peoples. We think Russia is a good start for the numerous tours that are planned in the next two years for the new album. After some selected summer festivals, we will start the Tief.Tiefer German tour in October.”
