hot flashes news the great sabatini

The album may have been released, but the propaganda campaign continues, as Montreal noise metal quartet, The Great Sabatini, releases more new visual accompaniments to singles from their newest full-length, Dog Years. The newest to be unveiled in this ongoing series of video singles, "Aleka" takes the mellowest yet possibly strangest track on Dog Years to even more odd levels of bizarre, with a simultaneous, four-scene, pulp style delivery. Who would have guessed just watching four band members just "going about their business" would be so creepy?

The Great Sabatini's third proper full-length, Dog Years was recorded, mixed and mastered by Sean Pearson (Cursed, Shallow North Dakota), and boasts the band's raw, unpolished approach to capture n act with years of accumulated experience touring, writing and recording together. The aim was to create a hi-fi document with all of their lo-fi sensibilities, grit and live energy intact, and the results are astoundingly destructive. French noise/metal label, Solar Flare Records, released the album on CD, digital and LP formats, the latter available on both black and transparent red vinyl.
