ACID DEATH To Begin Recording Hall Of Mirrors Album In August
June 30, 2014, 10 years ago
Two years after Acid Death's fifth official release, Eidolon, the band are set to release their new album, Hall Of Mirrors. With the new material complete, the recordings will start on August 4th. Acid Death will work in three studios for completing this release.
First, drums will be recorded at Athenian Devasoundz Studios with Fotis Benardo (Septic Flesh) as sound engineer, and all the rest of the instruments/voices will be recorded at the band's personal recording studio, S.I.A. Recordings. Mixing, mastering and the entire production will be undertaken by Mario Jezik, NoiseHead Records' co-owner/producer at NoiseHead studios, Austria. Hopefully the entire recording will be ready for November.
Acid Death is more than happy to work with Fotis and Mario for completing this production. You can expect more aggressive, technical, and of course fast, tracks on the new album than the previous one. More updates will follow, so stay tuned!
Acid Death will tour with legendary US death metallers, Master, this October. Also on board for The Witch Hunt European Tour 2014 are Vomitile, Scargod, plus an opener to be announced.
Says Acid Death: "We are more than happy to be a part of this tour and sharing the stage together with a legendary name as Master and also with our really good friends Vomitile! See you there!!"
