Check out this little snippet of legendary Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord performing at Palmer Coolum Resort (formerly Hyatt Regency Coolum) in February 2003. Coolum Beach is a beachside town on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
Says Lord: "Basically I ended up playing at a barbecue and I haven't done that since I was 16! The first time we played in Australia as Deep Purple was at a swimming pool in Perth. An Olympic sized swimming pool where the audience was on the other side of the pool. And here I am 30 odd years later playing where? At a swimming pool."
