July 11, 2014, 10 years ago
Montréal-based death metal band Krokmitën officially released their second album Omicron-Omega on July 10th at L'Hemisphere Gauche in Montréal. True to their original platform, they have made Omicron-Omega available for free in high quality audio files that can be downloaded right now at the band's headquarters, here.
This new 50-minute non-stop piece was recorded and mixed by Simlev (Krokmitën guitarist/vocalist) at SLD Studio in Montréal, Canada and mastered by J-F Dagenais (Kataklysm, Malevolent Creation, Misery Index).
Simlev commented: "Omicron-Omega is our gift to the universe of metal! We're stoked and proud of this capture in time that really represents well over 20 months of hard work. Fans are welcome to reach us on Twitter and our other social media accounts to give us some much-appreciated feedback, or simply to say hello! Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go sleep for two days!"
"Working on the album has been an absolutely unique and inspiring experience! I was able to be creative and better my craft as the project went along. Simlev provided the right tools to enable me to grow and I'm happy with the way things are going! I'm already looking forward to working on the third album!" says drummer Lupiaan.
