Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess has posted the following update from the road via Facebook:
On July 6th, Dream Theater played Sonisphere UK at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire, England. Prior to taking the stage, vocalist James LaBrie chatted with the Kerrang! Podcast. When asked if Dream Theater would ever consider playing an "all-request" set the way Metallica is doing on its current tour, LaBrie answered: "We haven't gotten to that point yet. I don't think so. Although we have enough songs that we could do that. It would just probably take a little bit more rehearsals to make sure that we've got all those songs down pat. But I think that's really cool — the fact that they can just pull out any one of their songs from their vast catalog. It would be really cool to do, but, yeah, that's probably later on down the road, if ever."
