Legendary Long Island Rock Club Closes

A popular rock club in Farmingdale, Long Island has closed unexpectedly.
All concerts at The Downtown club have been cancelled, and advanced ticket sales will be refunded.
Newsday reports that the club owners would not say why the club is closing.
The Downtown was a sports bar that changed to a rock club in December 2001.
