L.A. GUNS - Phil Lewis Comments On Bang Your Head!!! Cancellation

It was recently reported that Los Angeles rockers QUIET RIOT and L.A. GUNS had canceled their appearance at this year's installment of the Bang Your Head!!! festival, set to take place June 23rd - 24th, 2006 in Balingen, Germany. Denmark's PRETTY MAIDS and Canadian veterans ANVIL are the confirmed replacements.
L.A. Guns' Phil Lewis has issued the following message: "Putting the final touches on the new live CD, Loud And dangerous, recorded at our last Whiskey show that sould be in the stores by July.
As for the Bang Your Head!!! fest, we never knew to much about it, A friend got us the slot but we couldn't get a hold of anyone who could help us with the logistics so we found out way too late to be able to fit it in our scedule, too bad, I'd like to have seen a few of the bands, maybe we can do it next year."
The festival billing is shaping up as follows now: WHITESNAKE, IN FLAMES, FOREIGNER, STRATOVARIUS, HELLOWEEN, Y&T;, PRETTY MAIDS, RIK EMMETT (playing an evening of TRIUMP music), JON OLIVA'S PAIN, DEATH ANGEL, UNLEASHED, EXODUS, ARMORED SAINT, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, RAVEN, VENGEANCE, LEATHERWOLF, COUNT RAVEN, VICTORY, ANVIL, POWERWOLF, HELLFUELED.
