Nuclear Blast Europe (www.nuclearblast.de) reports that NIGHTWISH's deluxe DVD + CD package, End Of An Era, which contains footage from the group's last concert with singer Tarja Turunen in Helsinki, has hit the charts, big time.

Released on June 2nd, the DVD entered the German longplay charts at #3 and has since been certified Gold with over 25,000 copies sold.

Also, according to a posting on the band's official website, End Of An Era was certified gold in Finland one day after it's release. The DVD has sold 9,000 copies so far and the double live CD has shifted over 15,000 copies.

More international chart positions: Germany Album charts - #3, UK Rock/Metal Album charts - #7, Netherlands DVD charts #3, Switzerland Album charts - #18, Austria DVD charts - #2, Finland DVD charts - #1, Spain DVD charts - #2, France Album charts - #24.

As previously reported, Nightwish have launched an official video-blog page that gives the fans a behind-the-scenes look at their rehearsals this summer. The latest entry, featuring drummer Jukka Nevalainen discussing how the video-blog came about is now online and can be viewed at this location.

Also as reported, Nightwish have opened up a Nightmail forum that allows fans to ask the band questions, the replies for which are posted online at the end of every month.
