Live Insurrection (2001/2006): Re-releasing November 28th, 2006 on iTunes.com Keyword: Halford
Many Halford concerts were digitally captured during the band's ninety-five city Resurrection/Live Insurrection World Tour (2000/2001). It will not be the last live Halford concert The Metal God releases from that historic heavy metal tour; but it is recognized by fans, artists and critics world-wide as 'simply the most entertaining and best live concert release ever.' Live Insurrection (2001/2006) makes its thundering return to iTunes November 28th, 2006.
As the millenium arrived Halford hit the grueling, summer concert trail (August 2000), and began to punish the stagnant rock and metal audiences (2000/2001) in clubs, arenas and huge festivals. Night-after-night the Halford band brought blistering performances from their new release: 'Resurrection', 'Locked And Loaded', 'Made In Hell', 'Silent Screams'; as well as the higher reserve: Fight's 'Into The Pit', 'Nailed To The Gun' and Judas Priest's 'Stained Class', 'Jaw Breaker', 'Beyond The Realms Of Death', 'Metal Gods', 'Breaking The Law', 'Genocide' and 'Tyrant'.
Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson's legendary duet, 'The One You Love To Hate' was recorded in London, England using the legendary mobile studio once owned by the Rolling Stones. Three rare Rob Halford and Priest demos ('Screaming In The Dark' (Halford), 'Heart Of A Lion' (Judas Priest), and 'Prisoner Of Your Eyes' (Judas Priest) appear as polished singles. Those tracks were arranged in London December 2000, and recorded in Los Angeles early February 2001; days after the band's Rock In Rio III Brazil performance.
Experience why The Metal God and new guitarists: Metal Mike Chlasciak and Pat Lachman, drummer Bobby Jarzombek and bassist Ray Riendeau were embraced world-wide on the band's exciting Resurrection/Live Insurrection concert-trek of 2000 and 2001.

Fight: K5 - The War Of Words Demos (1992/2006):
Rob Halford worked alone in studio for months late-1991 and early-1992 writing and recording songs for a possible solo release. Shortly after covering 'Delivering The Goods' with SKID ROW, and writing 'Light Comes Out Of Black' and then recording it with members of PANTERA for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer soundtrack (1992); Rob began to get anxious for his own solo band and he began to recruit. By July 1992 the lineup was set: Russ Parrish and Brian Tilse - Guitars, Jay Jay - Bass and Scott Travis - Drums. The members of Fight were flown into Phoenix for their first rehearsal of new Rob Halford-penned tracks.
Only six days into rehearsals, Rob requested the band's rehearsal be recorded; and the new band and management were shocked at this early request. The performances are powerful but loose, and were originally put down so the band could reference the tracks as rehearsal continued. Rare film footage of Fight's very first rehearsals for the War Of Words release were captured in 1992, and will appear in MGE's 2007 film release: Fight: War Of Words - The Film.
The K5 recordings represent all final and working ideas Rob had assembled for his new band to perform. Many of Rob's favorite tracks from those sessions were never released: 'Down', 'Forbidden', 'Dead Men Talk', 'Beast Denies'; and with all demo tracks now finally assembled; Metal God fans world-wide finally have an opportunity to hear Rob Halford's vision of his first solo release.
Most Fight tracks from the War Of Words release are now well known by the global Rock and Metal communities, but what does K5 represent to the band? Here's the story: Fight's original demo recordings were secretly re-titled in the rented-studio's tape-storage room during the 1992 sessions. Anyone seeing Rob Halford or Fight on a reel of tape after hours; would more likely put the tape on one of the decks for a listen. Anyone seeing K5 on the tape would probably leave the tape alone, our Metal God reasoned.
K5 features the first original demonstration recordings written by Rob Halford and performed by Fight; shortly after Rob's departure from metal legends Judas Priest.
