THE WHO's Universal/Republic album Endless Wire, its first studio set since 1982's It's Hard, has cracked The Billboard 200 at #7 with 81,000. It is the band's best charting week since 1981's Face Dances peaked at #4. In other news,

MEAT LOAF's comeback album, Bat Out Of Hell 3: The Monster Is Loose sold 81,000 copies in its first week of release and it will debut at #8 on the Billboard Top 200. The album has collaborations from Jim Steinman, Desmond Child, STEVE VAI, Brian May (QUEEN) Nikki Sixx (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Marti Frederiksen, John 5 (ex-MARILYN MANSON) and Dianne Warren. Steve Vai plays guitar in the song 'In The Land of The Pigs, The Butcher Is King'. Brian May plays guitar on the song 'Bad For Good'.
