A tribute to late THE RUNAWAYS drummer Sandy West is being held on December 9th at The Knitting Factory, Hollywood, CA (7021 Hollywood Boulevard). The cost is $10.00 and all proceeds go to The Sandy West Foundation. Other artists performing at the tribute include: Cherie Currie (The Runaways) with Jake Hays, Ian Mitchell (BAY CITY ROLLERS), ATHENS, THE STREET WALKIN' CHEETAHS, D.H. Peligro (DEAD KENNEDYS) and Craig Else, MICHAEL DES BARRES, Chuck Wright (QUIET RIOT), Vinnie and Carmine Appice, RHINO BUCKET, THE ADOLESCENTS, THE START, Diane Katz and many more.
West died in late October after a long battle with lung cancer.
