Ireland's CRUACHAN have issued the following update regarding their recent Russian live dates:

"Hi, there was some confusion regarding cancelled dates on our Russian tour. The dates that were on our website were given by our Russian promoter, we never heard of any cancellations until the day we arrived in Russia. We were then told that the Archangelsk and Riga shows had to be cancelled and a replacement date was added in Pskov that was a great success. Kaliningrad was not cancelled, we finished our show in Ryasan and went straight to Moscow airport. We arrived there at 4 am, the flight was not until 10:50 am. The flight was delayed, we enquired why and were told that all flights to Kaliningrad were delayed due to snow storms. We waited until 8pm, 16 hours in a tiny airport, before deciding it was hopeless. The flight to Kaliningrad eventually took off 10 hours after our show would have ended, so it was completely not our fault."

As previously reported, Cruachan will release their new album, The Morrigan's Call, on November 17th in mainland Europe via AFM Records. The album will be released in Ireland and the UK on November 20th.

The album features the following tracklisting: 'Shelob', 'The Brown Bull Of Cooley', 'Coffin Ships', 'The Great Hunger', 'The Old Woman In The Woods', 'Ungoliant', 'The Morrigan’s Call', 'Téir Abhaile Riú', 'Wolfe Tone', 'The Very Wild Rover', 'Cuchulainn', 'Diarmuid And Grainne'.
