VAINGLORY - Vocalist KATE FRENCH Issues Recap Of Monterrey Metal Fest

As previously reported, VAINGLORY - featuring vocalist Kate French (CHASTAIN) and guitarist Corbin King - played the Monterrey Metal fest in Monterrey, Mexico on November 18th and a pre-show club gig on November 17th. French has issued the following update:
"So, were back from our trip to MMFIII. It was AMAZING!! Two shows, a pre-party show at Cafe Iguana on Friday 11/17/06 and the Metal Festival on that Saturday. The place we stayed was unbelievable! Marble floors, thick etched glass doors, flower arangements, and oil paintings everywhere. The staff catered to whatever you needed. There was a full buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner with amazing eats, and great company: Joe Stump (we love ya), LEAVES' EYES, BLIND GUARDIAN, U.D.O., DEICIDE (Ralph ROCKS), PENTAGRAM (Hey, Antonio Banderas!) and SOULS ON FIRE.......and they are all AWESOME PEOPLE!! The fans and the people of Monterrey where very gracious and kind. Signed alot of autographs....sold a lot of our upcoming CD.Cafe Iguana (the Friday venue) is a super cool venue..... looks like an old Spanish villa. Beautiful. And the MMF stage was facing this gigantic mountain range, it was about 80 degrees with a slight breeze when we played...huge crowds both days. We had the time of our lives! It was a BLAST and we (Vainglory) were so honored to be a part of it!

Vainglory will issue a limited edition version of their self-titled debut album released via Rebellion Records US on December 1st. The song 'Blackened Soul' is currently available for streaming at the label's official MySpace page.
