EMERSON LAKE & PALMER's Live At The Royal Albert Hall DVD will be released on January 29th via Sanctuary.

This superb DVD package documents ELP's historic return to the London stage at the Royal Albert Hall in October, 1992.

In 1991, after an absence of many years, ELP reformed with its original line-up of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer and the following year released a brand new album, Black Moon. This yielded some fine additions to the band's repertoire, including the title track and 'Paper Blood', both of which were performed at the Royal Albert Hall in 1992. Those tracks are represented here but most die-hard fans present at the London concerts were eager to hear the band tearing into performances of classic ELP, including 'Tarkus', 'Knife Edge', 'Fanfare For The Common Man' and 'America'. These favourites and more are featured here.

One of the most phenomenally successful acts of the early to mid 1970s, ELP emerged from the British progressive rock boom to conquer all those who came before them. Featuring the virtuoso keyboard skills of Keith Emerson, the soaring vocals of Greg Lake and the powerhouse drumming of Carl Palmer, the band became one of the first 'Arena Rock' bands, marrying neo-classical Hammond organ motifs with loud rock and roll and dazzling special effects.
