DANZIG mainman Glenn Danzig spoke to Michael Christopher Zwire.com recently his limited edition toy figure series called The 3 Faces Of Danzig.

"They're pretty funny," he said of the 10-inch tall figures. "When they started sending over prototypes, I thought they were cool -- they weren't dorky looking, they were different; big head, little body, it was kinda cool." The three figures represent Danzig at different stages of his career; from the skull and crossbones t-shirt days of the Misfits to the theatrically blood-soaked stage persona in Samhain, and today, shirtless, wearing an upside down cross and a big horned skull belt-buckle.

At about $75 a pop and available at Spencer's, Hot Topic and specialty comic book shops, the figures aren't cheap, but what a quality conversation piece to have.

"Obviously they're collector toys - but they're toys," Danzig said. "It's not like they're superheroes or anything, like when the McFarlane people did OZZY and he had muscles, it was like, come on!"
