MORIAN - "Drum Tracks Finished"

Finnish metallers MORIAN have finished work on the drum tracks for their forthcoming album which is being produced by
Hiili Hiilesmaa (APOCALYPTICA, SENTENCED, MOONSPELL). In a studio update the band comment:
"We entered Studio Musica (at the University of Jyväskylä) well trained and full of energy! This was the location for our drum recordings. Sessions started with careful planning on what microphones and techniques to use and a thorough drum tuning by Hiili. (I'll post detailed info on the drum setup, microphones, pre-amps later on). First song to be recorded was 'Away From The Sun'. After setup (levels, sound, etc.) Joonas (Juutilainen) started banging away (thee hee) and a few takes later it was a wrap! All that hard training had really paid off and everything went smoothly from there. We finished five songs on the first day and remaining eight on the second.
