VOLBEAT Split With Guitarist Franz "Hellboss" Gottschalk

Danish metallers VOLBEAT have issued the following band news:
"Volbeat parted ways with guitar player Franz "Hellboss" Gottschalk.We are sorry to inform you all, that Franz Hellboss is no longer in Volbeat due to different personalities and working methods off stage. We do not wish any mails with questions about this situation. The words have been said.
A replacement will be found as soon as possible. We wish Franz the best of luck in the future."
Pictured is the artwork for Danish metallers VOLBEAT's forthcoming second album, Rock The Rebel/Metal The Devil, to be issued by Mascot Records in late February or early March, 2007.
The band recorded the album at Jacob Hansen's Hansen studio in Ribe, Denmark.
