SEPULTURA - Official Website Uploads Video Footage Of 'Roots'-Meets-Pavarotti Cover By German Gag Band J.B.O.

The following update has bee issued at the official SEPULTURA website:
"For five or six years now, every day we receive e-mails from fans asking about a version of 'Roots Bloody Roots' with Luciano Pavarotti as guest. 'Is it really Sepultura in that song?' Of course not.This version of 'Roots Bloody Roots' was recorded by a German band called J.B.O., and it's probably one of the most popular versions for one of Sepultura's most popular songs.
If that was not enough, now there's a video of J.B.O. playing the cover live. Enjoy."
J.B.O. are a cult fave band in Germany that made a name for themselves covering metal songs and adding their own twist to them, either changing the lyrics to German, adding sound effects or altering the meaning of the songs entirely. One rather memorable cover was MEGADETH's 'Symphony Of Destruction', which became a German song entitled 'Symphony Of Constipation' (use your imagination re: sound effects). They now have an extensive catalogue that features original songs and cover tunes.
