DARK FUNERAL Ink New Endorsement Deals
December 22, 2006, 17 years ago
DARK FUNERAL leader Lord Ahriman has issued the following update:
"As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours. Here in the Dark Funeral camp, the wrath that usually pours down on us, is bad luck, however the tides seem to have turned, and for once, we are graced with good luck, and in turn, good news!Since the unfortunate incident in [xxx] we have been working real hard to arrange new gear so we can get back on the road. Since we're obviously not a rich band, to lose all of our gear has been a huge, huge setback for us in many ways, and it would take forever for us to save up money to afford to buy a whole new backline as anyone might understand. With so many tours, festival shows etc. already confirmed, it's been a real nightmare for us to not know whether we'll be able to pull them all off or not. We realize that this has been a big concern to many of our fans as well.
Finally we can all relax! And all thanks to BC Rich, Randall Amplifiers, Seymour Duncan, Pearl Drums and EBS, who has been truly helpful and also offered us their endorsements.
On December 19th, Chaq Mol and I signed an exclusive endorsement deal with Randall Amplifiers (USA). We have decided to play their V2 head along with theirR412XLT cabinet, which suit our sound perfect. It will also improve our live sound a lot.
We have also landed an endorsement deal with BC Rich Guitars (USA). And have decided to play their new NT neck-thru series (Guitars/Bass). Foremost, we plan to use the NT guitars live. And eventually order US custom guitars for studio use. This is also a major improvement for us in many ways.
Since we're already endorsed by Seymour Duncan we have equipped the new-guitars with their LW-HMET & LW-CH humbuckers, which boost impressively with two 9V batteries! That's what I call METAL!
Matte is endorsed by Pearl Drums. They will provide a kit for our upcoming tour throughout North America. He also uses, and is endorsed by Turkish Cymbals and Wincent drumstick.
B-Force has landed an endorsement deal with EBS and will play their EBS-TD650 head along with their EBS-410 evolution line cabinet. He will also use EBS bass strings.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to sort new wireless systems yet, but we're working on that as we speak.
We would like to send out a massive hail to everyone at BC Rich, Randall, Seymour Duncan, Pearl Drums, EBS and Luthman (www.luthman.se). You rule!
We can't wait to hit the stage and to meet all of you crazy metallers again!
First show with the new gear will be on January 9th at the Jaxx Nite Club, Springfield, VA. See you there!"
